Scope of Project: The multi-angled walls, sawhorse column design, translucent Rodeca panels, Hardie Board, and all the other features that make these buildings unique were preserved in our design, which also came in under the client’s budget.

This client called us with a problem that many projects face: the architect had designed two beautiful, iconic buildings, but the project costs were coming in well over budget using conventional steel. The initial call was to ask us what it would cost to install “dumbed-down” pre-engineered steel buildings in lieu of the fancy design that exists today. We knew that, given the chance, we could maintain the integrity of the originally intended design and come in under budget by implementing a hybrid approach to the steel design; and that’s exactly what we did.
