(Under the Install Contract, the contracting entity is Eskay Creek Mining Ltd. (a Skeena Resources Limited subsidiary))

Location: Eskay Creek Mine Site, Kitimat-Stikine, BC, Canada

Project Size: Approx. 76,000 sq. ft. Process Plant Building

Brief Project Description: The Eskay Creek Process Plant Building supports the revitalization of the Eskay Creek Mine, located in the heart of northwest British Columbia’s Golden Triangle region. Colony designed, supplied, and installed a 130ft tall, 76,000-square-foot hybrid steel process facility, delivering a complete structural steel and building envelope solution in a remote mining environment subject to challenging northern weather and logistical conditions.

Scope of Work: Design, supply, and installation of a hybrid steel process plant building measuring approximately 680ft long by 112ft wide, at a monoslope peak height of 130ft. This included structural steel, roof decking, insulated metal panel roof and wall systems, bridge cranes, overhead doors, man doors and fall protection systems all on an extremely tight schedule in a remote northern mining environment. Due to the complexity with ongoing design evolution, the installation scope was done on a time and materials contract in which Colony came under schedule and under budget.
